Steel Plate Descaling
Rolled steel products are used in a wide range of manufacturing sectors. To ensure effective corrosion protection and prepare the surface for subsequent coating, operations such as surface cleaning, descaling, and scale removal are essential.
Descaling equipment for steel plates, sheets, and structural sections—also known as roller conveyor shot blasting machines—is specifically designed for the mechanical descaling and/or surface pretreatment of steel in a continuous pass.
With KEEJOO equipment, it is possible to shot-blast plates up to 5 meters wide at a speed of 6 meters per hour.
Roller conveyor shot blasting equipment
The HD series represents a range of large-scale roller conveyor shot blasting machines; typically equipped with multiple blast wheels, they are designed for heavy-duty or large-scale applications and low-output steel mills.
The X-series structural shot blasting machine is a more sophisticated type of roller conveyor system designed for structural steel fabrication.

Pre-treatment Line
The pre-treatment line handles the initial stage of the processing workflow, comprising various phases of shot blasting and primer application. On this line, steel plates and profiles undergo thorough shot-blast cleaning and receive a temporary anti-corrosion coating. In addition to external material handling systems, the pre-treatment line incorporates a preheating furnace, a pass-through shot blasting machine, a painting unit, and a drying tunnel equipped with a slat conveyor.

Steel strip derusting
Annealing, cooling, mechanical descaling, and etching are integrated directly into the hot-rolled steel strip production line.
The shot-blasting unit is suitable for narrow, medium, and wide steel strips and is proven in practical applications. The shot-blasting system can be adjusted to meet specific strip width and quality requirements.
Surface roughness grades and through-feed speeds can be customized to meet production requirements. Modular expandability allows the system to adapt to any actual output demand.
Descaling of stainless steel, silicon alloy steel strip, and special steels (carbon, Cr-Ni, and titanium strip) on continuous production lines.
High-quality, uniform descaling significantly lowers the acid concentration required for subsequent chemical processing and reduces sludge accumulation in pickling tanks.
Pipe Descaling
KEEJOO’s inclined-roller equipment is specifically designed for the external surface treatment of tubular products such as pipes, rods, bars, and cylindrical tanks.
It is primarily used for descaling, cleaning of carbon steel, etching, profiling, and strengthening treatments.
