This is a compact, fully assembled shot blasting machine. It is primarily used for the shot blasting of welded steel structures, the deburring and surface homogenization of die-cast parts, and the strengthening of components subject to dynamic stress. Available in single-hook and dual-hook configurations, the machine utilizes two hooks to alternately load workpieces into the blasting chamber. Shot blasting units propel abrasive media (0.1–1.5 mm in size) against the workpiece surface to achieve a specific roughness and aesthetic finish, or to induce compressive stress that extends the component's service life. The rail system typically features an "I" or "Y" layout, with one or two heavy-duty hooks—controlled by manual or automatic systems—transporting workpieces into the chamber. Through the combined action of multiple high-efficiency blasting units and the rotation of the hooks, all surfaces of complex workpieces can be thoroughly cleaned.
Applications
Primarily used for shot blasting—to remove rust and strengthen surfaces—on workpieces such as castings, forgings, die-castings, riveted and welded assemblies, sheet metal parts, and stamped components; as well as engine blocks, crankshafts, pistons, valves, axles, wheel hubs, brake drums, rims, brake discs, coil springs, leaf springs, vehicle frames, tanker trucks, kitchenware (woks, soup pots, aluminum pots), bolts, dumbbells, and steam turbine components.

Compact, fully assembled shot blasting machine
This equipment is primarily used for the shot-blast cleaning of structural components, the deburring and surface homogenization of die-castings, and the hardening of components subject to dynamic stress. Available in single-hook and dual-hook configurations, the machine utilizes hooks to alternately load workpieces into the blast chamber. Blast wheels propel abrasive media (0.1–1.5 mm in diameter) onto the workpiece surface to achieve a specific roughness, enhance aesthetic appeal, or induce compressive stress to extend service life. This model is widely used for surface cleaning and strengthening—such as the removal of scale, burrs, and casting sand—on small- to medium-sized castings and forgings across industries including gears, shafts, forging, casting, construction, chemicals, electric motors, and machine tools. It is particularly suitable for processing slender or thin-walled components that are susceptible to damage from impact. As a standard model of shot-blasting equipment, it features a blast chamber with a rotating diameter of 1,000–3,000 mm and a height of 1,200–3,000 mm. Equipped with 2 to 7 blast wheels and a load capacity of up to 10,000 kg, the machine offers high productivity and great operational flexibility, making it an ideal choice for cleaning and strengthening. Operation is simple: the workpiece is loaded, the start button is pressed, and the entire process—including the removal of dust and residual media—is completed in a short cycle (typically 5–7 minutes). It is primarily applied to the surface treatment of various medium- to large-sized castings, forgings, weldments, and heat-treated parts, including fragile or irregularly shaped components.

Assembly, Joining, and Shot Blasting
Ready for immediate use and equipped with two Hai180® blast wheels, the equipment can be put into production the very day it is received. The HKS compact overhead-rail shot blasting machine is a self-contained, robust unit capable of providing cost-effective and efficient surface treatment for a wide variety of workpieces.

Introduction to the Components of the Shot Blasting Machine
Blast wheel
2. It features a more compact footprint than traditional blast wheels, supports arbitrary installation angle arrangement, and enables far easier inspection and maintenance.
3. Constant blasting performance is maintained throughout operation, free from inconsistent and fluctuating cleaning quality seen on conventional units.
4. Blades and all wear-resistant consumables are manufactured in Taiwan via high-chromium investment precision casting, delivering outstanding abrasion resistance. Their service life ranges from 1,200 to 4,000 hours, 3–4 times longer than ordinary casting materials.
5. Blast wheel impeller: Treated with carburizing wear-resistant alloy. The impeller hub is one-time finished by high-precision CNC machining centers for ultra-high dimensional accuracy, ensuring perfect dynamic balance during high-speed rotation, low vibration, low noise and extended service life.
6. Equipped with SKF bearings imported from Sweden.
7. Fitted with genuine Siemens motors.
8. German Schenck dynamic balancing tester is applied to guarantee precise high-speed dynamic balance of impeller hubs.

Abrasive flow valve

1. Semi-automatic flow control system for regulating the flow of abrasive media into the blast wheel, featuring manual adjustment of the steel shot flow rate.
2. Fully sealed structural design, featuring a lockable inspection opening and equipped with two bearings.
3. A manual shut-off valve is installed above each flow valve; this can be closed to stop the flow of media from the hopper, thereby facilitating maintenance of the flow valve.
Blasting chamber
1. The shot blasting chamber is constructed from welded manganese steel.
2. Manganese steel protective plates are installed in the "hot zone" of the chamber—specifically covering three-quarters of the area directly exposed to the blast stream—to prevent steel shot from striking the chamber's outer walls; these plates are suspended for easy installation, removal, and replacement.
3. A three-layer sealing structure is installed at the top to prevent steel shot from leaking out during the blasting process.
Step-action pneumatic AB doors or continuous light curtain sensing system.
2. The door utilizes an automatic opening and closing mechanism controlled by pneumatic cylinders.
3.Employing specialized processes and technology, the door is more reliable than conventional designs; it resists deformation and maintains its sealing integrity for 20 years—overcoming the performance degradation typical of traditional sealing methods after just six months.
1. Two sets of light curtain sensors are installed at the inlet and outlet, respectively; used in pairs, the sensor density can be selected based on workpiece size.
2. When a workpiece enters the blast chamber, the inlet light curtain detects its arrival, triggering a delayed start of the blast wheel. A light curtain sensor is also installed at the outlet; when the sensors at both the inlet and outlet detect no workpieces, the flow valve automatically closes immediately to prevent "air blasting" (blasting without a workpiece present).

Automatic overhead conveyor System
1. One set of automatic closed-loop overhead conveyor system.
2.One set of tooling system, fabricated by welding wear-resistant steel rods after heat treatment (design can be customized based on specific customer requirements).

1. One set of Y-track trolley systems enables continuous operation across two workstations. A pneumatic valve controls the track-switching mechanism. While one hoist unit is engaged in the shot-blasting process, the other is used for loading and unloading.
2. Two sets of tooling systems, fabricated by welding wear-resistant steel rods after heat treatment (designs can be customized to meet specific customer requirements).
3. Two sets of hoist systems featuring a four-section telescopic framework and a chain electric hoist mechanism, ensuring excellent stability.

Sorting system
1. A mesh screen separator is connected to the elevator and positioned above the magnetic separator; fine material passes through the screen into the magnetic separator, while coarse material and impurities are conveyed by a spiral mechanism along the screen to the discharge port at the rear.
2. It is designed to finely separate usable shot, broken shot, and dust, ensuring the uniformity of the shot media.
3.Featuring a welded structure, the interior contains multiple carefully designed compartments for airflow guidance. An access door on the front allows for routine inspection and maintenance; this door is equipped with an air inlet to provide the necessary airflow for dust separation.
4. An adjustable multi-vane baffle structure is used to regulate the uniformity of the falling abrasive curtain.
5. Stationary magnets installed at both the top and bottom enable the fine separation of usable shot from broken steel shot, ensuring the consistency of the blast media.
6. A storage hopper is connected at the bottom; after separation, the usable shot flows into the hopper for storage and subsequent reuse.
