The steel track shot blasting machine utilizes a high-strength, wear-resistant manganese steel belt to carry the workpieces. It employs a high-speed rotating impeller to propel abrasive media onto the workpieces within the chamber, thereby achieving the cleaning objective. This machine is suitable for sand removal, descaling, oxide layer removal, and surface strengthening of small castings, forgings, stamped parts, gears, and springs; it is particularly well-suited for cleaning and strengthening parts that can withstand impact. The machine uses the trough-like cavity formed by the manganese steel belt as the carrier for the workpieces. During operation, the rotating tracks cause the workpieces within the chamber to tumble, ensuring effective cleaning of both their inner and outer surfaces. Featuring automatic loading and unloading capabilities, this type of machine is ideally suited for the shot blasting of large batches of small parts; current models include the 6GN, 15GN, and 28GN. Shot peening machines are designed specifically for metal surface treatment; shot peening is a process engineered to enhance the fatigue strength of components subjected to alternating stresses. It utilizes a high-velocity stream of shot to impact the metal surface, creating a layer of cyclic plastic strain. This induces beneficial microstructural changes in the surface layer and introduces a residual compressive stress field, thereby improving resistance to fatigue fracture and stress corrosion cracking, and ultimately enhancing product reliability and durability.

Applications
Suitable for cleaning adhered sand, scale, and other deposits from the surfaces of small castings, forgings, stamped parts, and springs—including thin-walled or impact-sensitive components—in heat treatment workshops; it can also be used for surface strengthening. (Do not use to clean high-temperature parts, slender components, or parts with burrs or flash, as these can easily damage the conveyor belt.)
Shot-blasting hoppers and polygonal drums—combined with a range of shot-blasting and workpiece handling technologies—offer a cost-effective solution for the surface treatment of parts that require gentle tumbling. Key advantages of this batch-type shot-blasting machine include a compact design, proven operating principles, powerful cleaning capabilities, and a gentle tumbling action.

Flexible, economical, and reliable: the philosophy behind the GN series of batch-type steel-belt shot blasting machines underpins the development of Chunjiu’s drum-type shot blasting equipment. These machines deliver reliable process technology combined with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to specific requirements—including cost-efficiency. Cost-conscious users have a range of options available for the surface treatment of parts.
Reliable process technology offering high flexibility: small parts are cleaned to the same high standards as larger components, ensuring consistent results. Chunjiu’s machines are specifically designed to minimize the height required for loading and unloading, thereby reducing the risk of damage to delicate parts.
Design and operating sequence
Qingdao KEEJOO Group’s tumble-belt shot blasting machines are designed specifically for batch processing. By utilizing appropriate loading and unloading equipment, these machines can be integrated into existing production facilities to establish a continuous workflow.
A loading device feeds workpieces into the trough-shaped blast chamber, which is equipped with either a continuous rubber belt or a steel slat conveyor and adjustable transverse discs. A low-vibration plate removes shot, burrs, flash, or scale—as well as accumulated abrasive—prior to the separation stage (an optional feature on smaller machines). The conveyor speed can be adjusted based on the tumbling action to ensure each workpiece remains in the blast zone for the required duration.
If the conveyor belt runs in the opposite direction, it discharges workpieces from the machine into a container or onto a conveyor. Loading and unloading operations are tailored to production requirements: manual, mechanical, or automatic loading allows the Chunjiu tumble-belt shot blasting machine to be integrated into continuous production processes.
Optimizing Shot Blasting Results: During the process, workpieces—regardless of size or shape—are tumbled continuously and evenly, ensuring that internal areas and passages are thoroughly cleaned. This is essential for effective and uniform treatment of all surfaces. As the parts tumble, shot media is continuously discharged from the surfaces and internal cavities; the duration of the final tumbling phase—following the actual blasting—can be adjusted to suit the specific type of workpiece, ensuring complete removal of the media. The blast chamber features a high-integrity seal that prevents leakage and minimizes shot consumption.
Steel or rubber tracks: All machines in the 3Gn to 28Gn series are equipped with wear-resistant rubber belts and steel tracks. These machines are also suitable for processing light alloy parts.

Large-scale equipment: Models such as the 15Gn to 28Gn-7M are commonly used for the shot-blasting of heavy-duty components. They are equipped with steel belts or specialized wear-resistant high-manganese steel slats to meet the demands of heavy-duty applications, specific operational requirements, and the need for a long service life.
Qingdao KEEJOO Group offers a comprehensive range of tracked equipment—available with either rubber or steel tracks—designed for various applications and operational processes. Other equipment types and sizes can also be selected to meet specific customer requirements.
Introduction to the Components of the Shot Blasting Machine
Blast wheel

1. Semi-automatic flow control system for regulating the flow of abrasive media into the blast wheel, featuring manual adjustment of the steel shot flow rate.
2. Fully sealed structural design, featuring a lockable inspection opening and equipped with two bearings.
3. A manual shut-off valve is installed above each flow valve; this can be closed to stop the flow of media from the hopper, thereby facilitating maintenance of the flow valve.
1. The shot blasting chamber is constructed from welded manganese steel.
2. Manganese steel protective plates are installed in the "hot zone" of the chamber—specifically covering three-quarters of the area directly exposed to the blast stream—to prevent steel shot from striking the chamber's outer walls; these plates are suspended for easy installation, removal, and replacement.
3. A three-layer sealing structure is installed at the top to prevent steel shot from leaking out during the blasting process.
2. The door utilizes an automatic opening and closing mechanism controlled by pneumatic cylinders.
3.Employing specialized processes and technology, the door is more reliable than conventional designs; it resists deformation and maintains its sealing integrity for 20 years—overcoming the performance degradation typical of traditional sealing methods after just six months.

1.Charging door
The charging door is constructed from welded steel and features a high-manganese steel protective plate with a labyrinth-style guard design. It is driven by an electric trolley with a link chain (equipped with a safety pin) and includes a detection switch to monitor the door's position.
2. Feeding machine
The charging machine consists of a support frame, a carriage, and a link-chain drive mechanism. Protective plates are mounted on both sides of the frame, with control buttons installed on one side. The frame supports a pivoting arm; when the drive mechanism is activated, the material hopper ascends along the internal channel of the arm. Simultaneously, the arm rotates around its pivot point, causing the hopper—during its ascent and rotation—to tilt toward the cleaner's feed opening and discharge the material into the drum.
A rotary proximity switch is located at the drive shaft end to limit the upper travel limit of the hopper, while a proximity switch signals the completion of the movement once the hopper has descended.
Discharge system
1. An automatic unloading mechanism: Workpieces that have undergone shot blasting are discharged from the blast chamber, fall onto the automatic unloading mechanism, and are then conveyed into a collection bin by a vibration device.
2. An anti-drop, vibration-dampening rubber pad is installed on the unloading mechanism; it effectively prevents impact between the parts and the damping plate, providing excellent protection.

1. A mesh screen separator is connected to the elevator and positioned above the magnetic separator; fine material passes through the screen into the magnetic separator, while coarse material and impurities are conveyed by a spiral mechanism along the screen to the discharge port at the rear.
2. It is designed to finely separate usable shot, broken shot, and dust, ensuring the uniformity of the shot media.
3.Featuring a welded structure, the interior contains multiple carefully designed compartments for airflow guidance. An access door on the front allows for routine inspection and maintenance; this door is equipped with an air inlet to provide the necessary airflow for dust separation.
4. An adjustable multi-vane baffle structure is used to regulate the uniformity of the falling abrasive curtain.
5. Stationary magnets installed at both the top and bottom enable the fine separation of usable shot from broken steel shot, ensuring the consistency of the blast media.
6. A storage hopper is connected at the bottom; after separation, the usable shot flows into the hopper for storage and subsequent reuse.
