Product Overview
The wire meshbelt shot blasting machine utilizes a conveyor belt to transport workpieces; these belts are available in two types: steel wire mesh and wear-resistant rubber. The machine features a loading station at one end of the blast chamber and an unloading station at the other. During operation, parts are placed on the conveyor belt at the loading station and move continuously and steadily into the blast chamber for cleaning, after which they are removed at the unloading station. Key characteristics of this machine include continuous operation, the absence of part-to-part collisions, suitability for small-to-medium-sized components, and high-volume production capability. During the shot blasting operation, steel shot discharged from the blast wheel falls to the bottom of the blast chamber and is conveyed by a screw conveyor to the base of the elevator; the elevator's belt assembly then lifts the shot to a separator at the top. Powered by the dust collector, the separator sifts the reclaimed shot to remove fragments and dust generated during the process. Usable shot passes through the separator directly into the storage hopper above the blast wheel, ready for reuse.Broken steel shot is separated out and drops into a waste bin via a bypass pipe. Dust is directly extracted by the dust removal system and captured on the filter cartridges within the dust collection chamber; a pulse-jet cleaning system dislodges the dust, causing it to fall into a collection bin for timely disposal. (An optional wet dust collector is available: high-speed water mist is sprayed against the inner walls, flows into a collection tank to form sludge, and is subsequently discharged from the unit via a drainage mechanism.)
Applications
This type of equipment is generally suitable for parts requiring high-volume surface cleaning or for components where only a single surface needs to be treated. The wire mesh belt shot blasting machines are particularly well-suited for processing flat parts and certain components that are sensitive to impact.

Process
KEEJOO brand mesh-belt shot blasting machines can be seamlessly integrated into your production process. Workpieces are fed directly from the conveyor system for continuous shot blasting. A manganese steel mesh belt transports the workpieces into the blast chamber. High-efficiency blast wheels are positioned at specific angles, ensuring reliable shot blasting—even for complex shapes—as the parts pass continuously through the machine.
The number and power of the blast wheels, as well as the part throughput speed, can be selected based on the desired shot blasting effect to establish a processing speed that integrates seamlessly with your existing production line.

Shot blasting mode
The shot blasting chamber of this equipment is entirely made of manganese steel. The advantage of manganese steel is that it is very hard and durable. The hardness increases from 35HRC to 50HRC or even more after the impact of round steel shot, so it has very good wear resistance.
In the "hot zone" where the shot material directly impacts, the shot blasting chamber is additionally equipped with a 10mm thick manganese steel wear-resistant liner, almost creating an additional internal shot blasting chamber. These liners are easy to replace and can be fixed in a variety of ways (screwing, connecting, hanging, etc.).
To prevent shot from scattering, the equipment is fitted with multi-layer rubber curtains. In the "hot zone," KGS curtains are used; these slide along V-shaped rails and are easy to replace.

Features and Options
Wire mesh belt
One advantage of mesh belts is that they can continuously convey and process parts of various sizes. Qingdao KEEJOO Group uses hardened manganese steel strips as standard.
Features: Hardened manganese steel offers high wear resistance, ensuring long maintenance intervals and replacement cycles. A range of mesh belt widths accommodates various workpieces and shot blasting applications. Thanks to the fully automatic pneumatic tensioning system, the belt maintains the required tension throughout its entire service life without the need for manual intervention.
Shot Cleaning Station
As an option, a shot cleaning station can be installed before the workpiece is transferred to the subsequent production process.
At the shot removal station, shot-blasted components are selected and rotated 360° to dislodge any shot trapped in internal cavities or recesses. The recovered shot is returned to the shot-blasting machine. The components are then conveyed to a chute for unloading or transferred to the next processing stage. This system can also be integrated into fully automated production lines.
Shot cleaning
During the shot blasting process, dust, broken shot, and other solid particles or contaminants (particulates) are generated from the rust and scale removed from the workpiece. These particulates are separated within the shot recovery unit, which can be adjusted according to the specific type and size of the shot blasting media.
The abrasive recovery unit consists of an impact separator and a cartridge dust collector. The impact separator removes particles from the abrasive and serves as a certified spark trap compliant with ATEX regulations.
The cartridge dust collector generates the necessary negative pressure to remove dust and can be installed independently next to the shot blasting machine. It features automatic cleaning via compressed air pulses, with adjustable intensity and duration. All components of the dust collector are fire-resistant. Alternatively, a wet dust collection unit may be used; this method is frequently employed in aluminum alloy die-casting.

Magnetic separator
Magnetic separators boost your profitability by reducing equipment wear and shot consumption. Molding and core sands adhering to castings are removed during the shot blasting process; because these sands cause significant wear, they must be quickly and effectively separated from the ferromagnetic shot—a task performed by the magnetic separator.
The magnetic separator utilizes a drum equipped with two adjustable magnetic zones and a screening box to separate molding sand, core sand, and granules from reusable shot, leaving a residue content of only 0.2%. This effectively reduces wear and shot consumption, leading to higher profitability for your operations.

The impeller body is precision-machined in a single operation using a high-precision CNC machining center; this ensures high dimensional accuracy and balanced high-speed operation, resulting in low vibration, low noise, and extended service life.
6 Bearings are sourced from SKF (Sweden).
7 The motor is supplied by Siemens (Germany).
8 German Schenck dynamic balancing equipment is used to ensure precise high-speed dynamic balance of the impeller body.

1. Semi-automatic flow control system for regulating the flow of abrasive media into the blast wheel, featuring manual adjustment of the steel shot flow rate.
2. Fully sealed structural design, featuring a lockable inspection opening and equipped with two bearings.
3. A manual shut-off valve is installed above each flow valve; this can be closed to stop the flow of media from the hopper, thereby facilitating maintenance of the flow valve.

1. The shot blasting chamber is constructed from welded manganese steel.
2. Manganese steel protective plates are installed in the "hot zone" of the chamber—specifically covering three-quarters of the area directly exposed to the blast stream—to prevent steel shot from striking the chamber's outer walls; these plates are suspended for easy installation, removal, and replacement.
3. A three-layer sealing structure is installed at the top to prevent steel shot from leaking out during the blasting process.

1. Two sets of light curtain sensing units are installed at the infeed and outfeed points, respectively; used in pairs, the light curtain resolution can be selected based on workpiece size.
2. As a workpiece enters the shot blasting chamber, a light curtain at the inlet detects its presence, triggering the shot blasting units to start after a brief delay. A light curtain sensor is also installed at the outlet; when the sensors at both the inlet and outlet detect no workpieces, the flow valve automatically closes immediately to prevent "air blasting" (blasting without a workpiece present).

1.Charging door
The charging door is constructed from welded steel and features a high-manganese steel protective plate with a labyrinth-style guard design. It is driven by an electric trolley with a link chain (equipped with a safety pin) and includes a detection switch to monitor the door's position.
2.Feeding machine
The charging machine consists of a support frame, a carriage, and a link-chain drive mechanism. Protective plates are mounted on both sides of the frame, with control buttons installed on one side. The frame supports a pivoting arm; when the drive mechanism is activated, the material hopper ascends along the internal channel of the arm. Simultaneously, the arm rotates around its pivot point, causing the hopper—during its ascent and rotation—to tilt toward the cleaner's feed opening and discharge the material into the drum.
A rotary proximity switch is located at the drive shaft end to limit the upper travel limit of the hopper, while a proximity switch signals the completion of the movement once the hopper has descended.
Discharge system
1. An automatic unloading mechanism: after shot blasting, the workpieces are discharged from the blasting chamber onto the unloading mechanism, and a vibration device then conveys the parts into a collection bin.
2. The unloading mechanism is fitted with shock-absorbing rubber pads that effectively prevent impact between the parts and the shock-absorbing plate, providing excellent protection.

1. A mesh screen separator is connected to the elevator and positioned above the magnetic separator; fine material passes through the screen into the magnetic separator, while coarse material and impurities are conveyed by a spiral mechanism along the screen to the discharge port at the rear.
2. It is designed to finely separate usable shot, broken shot, and dust, ensuring the uniformity of the shot media.
3.Featuring a welded structure, the interior contains multiple carefully designed compartments for airflow guidance. An access door on the front allows for routine inspection and maintenance; this door is equipped with an air inlet to provide the necessary airflow for dust separation.
4. An adjustable multi-vane baffle structure is used to regulate the uniformity of the falling abrasive curtain.
5. Stationary magnets installed at both the top and bottom enable the fine separation of usable shot from broken steel shot, ensuring the consistency of the blast media.
6. A storage hopper is connected at the bottom; after separation, the usable shot flows into the hopper for storage and subsequent reuse.
