ZT0 Series Double Rotary Table Shot Blasting Machines (Rotary table diameter customizable from 900 to 2000 mm)

This machine is dedicated shot blasting and strengthening equipment for cleaning and strengthening forgings, castings and gears. It delivers intensive blasting treatment on raw steel and casting surfaces to eliminate rust layers, welding slag and mill scale, forming a uniform metallic luster, which improves coating quality and fatigue strength of steel parts.
To meet your strict requirements on workpiece cleaning, we adopt the following core technologies and guarantee measures in the scheme and design of this machine:
Mechanical
Shot Blaster Arrangement: To handle high throughput, high-efficiency shot blasters are positioned at the top and sides; their blast patterns complement each other to ensure uniform cleaning results. A fully enclosed sealing mechanism—comprising wear-resistant alloy plates and labyrinth seals—prevents abrasive media from escaping the chamber during operation. The "hot zone" of the blast chamber is lined with high-grade imported rolled liners; these feature exceptional density and hardness—offering a service life more than three times that of cast steel liners—and provide seamless coverage for easy replacement. The design also maximizes the use of rebounding media to achieve a secondary cleaning effect. The number of active shot blasters can be adjusted based on workpiece size, thereby minimizing energy waste and reducing unnecessary equipment wear. The abrasive supply system utilizes a specialized pneumatic gate valve combined with photoelectric workpiece detection to prevent "dry blasting" (blasting without a workpiece present), offering greater stability and reliability than conventional pneumatic cylinder systems. The bucket elevator features an anti-reverse ratchet and pawl mechanism to prevent damage caused by the belt reversing direction during sudden power outages or unexpected shutdowns; a slip/stall detection alarm is also installed at the idler pulley. The separator employs a full-curtain flow design: a variable-pitch, variable-aperture separator automatically adjusts the flow curtain based on abrasive conditions to maintain a consistent, full-curtain flow.

Shot blasting cleaning: Using KEEJOO turbine hurricane technology to produce a shot blaster with high projectile speed, the wear resistance is increased by 60% and the maintenance cost is reduced by 50%. The special shot blasting structure maximizes the utilization rate of projectiles to 98%, compared with only 80% for ordinary shot blasters. This technology is the most advanced in mainland China. The shot blaster is arranged linearly, the angle is simulated in three dimensions, and the projectile coverage is uniform. Shot circulation purification: The most advanced overflow induction type true full-curtain multi-stage air separation separator is used, a special polyester core elevator transmission belt is used, a remote control shot controller is used, and each power point of the shot circulation system is equipped with a fault alarm function. The standard configuration of the dust removal system is two-stage dust removal: settling chamber + filter cartridge dust removal. The second stage can also use pulse backflush cartridge dust collector or pulse bag dust removal, and the dust emission concentration is less than 30 mg/m3.

The Model ZJ015 shot blasting machine is a horizontal rotary-table type shot blasting system. It comprises a shot blasting chamber, a rotary table, a rotary table drive system, rotary table protection, a shot blasting unit assembly, an abrasive circulation and purification system, a shot recovery system, a dust removal system, and an electrical control system.
Shot Blasting Chamber Structure: The machine primarily consists of the chamber body, dual turntables, a drive system, a separator, a bucket elevator, an abrasive delivery system, and shot blasting units. High-speed rotating shot blasting units are mounted on both the roof and the side walls to blast the workpieces from optimal angles. As the turntables rotate the workpieces out of the chamber, the cleaning results are immediately visible, facilitating the next stage of operations. Blasting Principle: The machine employs a transverse blasting principle, positioning the axis of the blasting units at an appropriate angle relative to the direction of workpiece movement; this maximizes impact effectiveness while preventing "air blasting" (where abrasive misses the target), which would otherwise compromise cleaning quality.
Shot Blasting Chamber Features: Constructed from welded steel plate, the chamber offers sufficient strength and rigidity. The configuration of the chamber body and the mounting orientation of the blast wheels were determined through 3D optimization and dynamic simulation, ensuring optimal workpiece cleaning results and maximizing equipment efficiency. The primary blast zone within the chamber is lined with high-manganese steel liners; these liners possess high impact toughness and effectively utilize the kinetic energy of rebounding abrasive media to continue striking the workpiece surface, thereby enhancing cleaning quality and efficiency. Highly wear-resistant, perforated liners are installed on the turntable to prevent large debris, flash, and burrs from entering the hopper, screw conveyor, and elevator, thereby ensuring the smooth circulation of abrasive media and the proper operation of the equipment. High-quality vibration-dampening rubber pads are inserted between the blast wheels and the chamber body to reduce vibration and noise, extending the service life of the blast wheels. A multi-layer, staggered rubber sealing system ensures a tight seal; the negative pressure generated within the chamber by the dust collector fan prevents dust leakage. Chamber Protection: The imported rolled austenitic steel liners offer a service life—reaching up to 15,000–18,000 hours—that is approximately six times that of traditional wear-resistant cast iron or 65Mn steel liners, and more than three times that of Mn13 wear-resistant cast steel liners.

Product Overview
Rotary-table shot blasting machines utilize a turntable to carry workpieces; common table diameters include 1200 mm, 1600 mm, 1800 mm, and 2500 mm. Depending on specific requirements, these machines may be equipped with one or multiple blast wheels and can operate in either continuous or intermittent modes. The operating principle involves placing workpieces on the turntable (spaced apart to prevent contact or collision) and rotating them into the blast zone for cleaning; once the table rotates back to the loading/unloading position, the workpieces can be removed. Consequently, this type of machine is best suited for workpieces where one side does not require cleaning—otherwise, the parts would need to be flipped over for a second pass. However, Chunjiu’s rotary-table hook-type shot blasting machine features both a turntable and a rotating hook mechanism, making it ideal for high-standard surface treatment applications.
Applications
Surface cleaning or strengthening of small- to medium-sized castings and forgings for industries such as gears, gear shafts, forging, casting, construction, chemicals, electric motors, and machine tools—including processes like descaling, deburring, and sand removal from sand castings.

Key advantages
Features a body and protective liners made entirely of manganese steel, ensuring a 20-year service life; utilizes an advanced Venturi dust removal system; employs a two-stage separation system for broken shot; incorporates a high-performance ABB motor and H-series blast wheel; uses an automatic steel shot flow control system; features an automatic turntable system; and utilizes a combination of magnetic separation, transverse screw separation, and air separation systems.

The rotary-table shot blasting machine utilizes a turntable to support the workpieces; available models are categorized by turntable diameter, such as φ2000 mm, φ3000 mm, φ4000 mm, and φ5000 mm. Depending on specific requirements, these machines may be equipped with 4, 6, or 10 blast wheels and can operate in either continuous or intermittent modes.
Its operating principle is as follows: Workpieces are placed on a turntable (spaced apart to prevent contact or collision) and carried into the blasting zone for shot blasting; once the turntable rotates to the unloading position, the workpieces can be removed. Consequently, this type of machine is best suited for workpieces requiring treatment on only one side; otherwise, the workpieces would need to be flipped over for a second pass. However, Chunjiu’s turntable-and-hook shot blasting machine features both a turntable and hooks—with the hooks capable of rotation—making it suitable for high-standard surface treatment applications. During the blasting process, steel shot falls onto the turntable surface and the bottom of the blasting chamber. Shot on the turntable surface is pushed by a scraper mechanism mounted beneath the turntable into a bottom screw conveyor, which transports it to the base of the elevator; a belt elevator assembly then lifts the shot to a top-mounted separator, which utilizes airflow from the dust collector to sort and classify the reclaimed shot. The purpose is to separate broken steel shot and dust generated during the shot blasting process. Through the separator, usable steel shot is directed into the storage hopper above the blast wheel for reuse, while broken shot is separated out and discharged into the waste bin via a bypass pipe.

2. Fully sealed structural design, featuring a lockable inspection opening and equipped with two bearings.
3. A manual shut-off valve is installed above each flow valve; this can be closed to stop the flow of media from the hopper, thereby facilitating maintenance of the flow valve.

1. The shot blasting chamber is constructed from welded manganese steel.
2. Manganese steel protective plates are installed in the "hot zone" of the chamber—specifically covering three-quarters of the area directly exposed to the blast stream—to prevent steel shot from striking the chamber's outer walls; these plates are suspended for easy installation, removal, and replacement.
3. A three-layer sealing structure is installed at the top to prevent steel shot from leaking out during the blasting process.
1. The workpiece conveying system for the entire production line utilizes stepless variable-frequency speed control and consists of an input roller conveyor, a shot-blasting chamber roller conveyor, and an output roller conveyor.
2. The rollers for both the input and output roller tables are manufactured by welding heat-treated shaft ends to high-quality carbon steel seamless pipes, followed by integral machining on a lathe. Machining is performed after welding to ensure both a load-bearing capacity of 0.5 t/m and precise coaxiality.
3. The rollers within the shot blasting chamber that are subjected to the impact of the shot are all fitted with easily replaceable, wear-resistant sleeves made of special high-chromium-molybdenum iron.
4. The roller pitch is 600–800 mm, and the entire line utilizes variable-frequency speed control, enabling both high-speed and low-speed workpiece transport.

Wire mesh-belt conveyor type:
1. The system comprises dozens of transmission components, including carbon steel rollers, sprockets and chains, mesh belts, and bearings. The roller conveyor is divided into three sections: the infeed section, the shot-blasting section, and the discharge section. The rollers are constructed by precision-welding quenched-and-tempered end caps to high-quality seamless carbon steel pipes; their profiles and mounting dimensions are machined after welding to ensure compliance with load-bearing and coaxiality requirements.
2. The roller conveyors inside the blast chamber are equipped with easily replaceable wear-resistant medium-chromium cast iron sleeves. Labyrinth seals made of wear-resistant manganese steel are used at both ends of the roller shafts, completely preventing abrasive media from wearing down the bearings.
3. Utilizes imported HD wear-resistant manganese steel that has undergone solution and tempering treatments to eliminate internal residual stresses, moderately reduce the hardness of the manganese steel wire, and enhance its toughness and ductility.
4. A geared drive motor is installed on the right side of the conveyor belt and directly coupled to the drive roller, propelling both the belt and the workpieces; variable frequency speed control is employed, providing a conveying speed of 0.5–4 m/min.
5. A roller is installed under the driving shaft to serve as a guide and tensioner. When the steel mesh belt is loose, it can be tightened through this mechanism.

1. Two sets of light curtain sensing units are installed at the infeed and outfeed openings, respectively; the light curtain resolution can be selected based on workpiece size, and the units are used in pairs.
2. When a workpiece enters the shot blasting chamber, a light curtain at the inlet detects its presence, triggering a delayed start of the blast wheels. A light curtain sensor is also installed at the outlet; when the inlet and outlet sensors detect that no workpieces are passing through, the flow valve closes automatically and immediately to prevent "air blasting" (blasting without a workpiece present).

1. A mesh screen separator is connected to the elevator and positioned above the magnetic separator; fine material passes through the screen into the magnetic separator, while coarse material and impurities are conveyed by a spiral mechanism along the screen to the discharge port at the rear.
2. It is designed to finely separate usable shot, broken shot, and dust, ensuring the uniformity of the shot media.
3.Featuring a welded structure, the interior contains multiple carefully designed compartments for airflow guidance. An access door on the front allows for routine inspection and maintenance; this door is equipped with an air inlet to provide the necessary airflow for dust separation.
4. An adjustable multi-vane baffle structure is used to regulate the uniformity of the falling abrasive curtain.
5. Stationary magnets installed at both the top and bottom enable the fine separation of usable shot from broken steel shot, ensuring the consistency of the blast media.
6. A storage hopper is connected at the bottom; after separation, the usable shot flows into the hopper for storage and subsequent reuse.
